This will bring Teachers Mutual Bank’s Standard Variable Rate (Teachers Flexi Choice) down to 5.48% pa (comparison rate 5.53% pa) and the Solutions Plus Home Loan Package variable rate to as low as 4.62% pa (comparison rate 4.87% pa). Solutions Plus Home Loan New Rate Comparison Rate $150,000 - $249,999 4.98% pa 5.23% pa $250,000 - $499,999 4.82% pa 5.07% pa $500,000 - $749,999 4.64% pa 4.89% pa $750,000 + 4.62% pa 4.87% pa The new interest rates take effect for new loans from 16 February 2015, and from 1 March 2015 for all existing loans. Note: When Teachers Mutual Bank makes rate changes, this occurs on the 1st of the month for existing members, irrespective of whether its rates are moving up or down.
