Our head office is located at 28-38 Powell Street in Homebush and there is usually plenty of off-street parking available. We are also within walking distance of Homebush, North Strathfield and Strathfield train stations. When you arrive, simply make your way up to the reception area and inform them of your interview time and who you’re meeting with. As part of our employment processes, we will require you to complete an “Employment Application Form” and an “Applicant Consent Form” in order for us to conduct appropriate reference checks and background checks. These typically include but are not limited to Criminal History, Qualifications, Employment History and a variety of other checks in line with the position that you are applying for. Information we collect and hold We will collect: your name and contact details your employment history references from your former employers where applicable, police checks information about you from social media where applicable, sensitive health information about you. How we collect your information We collect information about you from: you directly your previous employers to check your employment history and any references your former employers have provided police checks provided by the Australian Federal Police, where applicable social media. The Banking Act and the Corporations Act authorises us, where relevant, to obtain police checks. We will obtain police checks for successful applicants only. You will need to consent to our obtaining police checks. You do not have to but if you do not, we will not proceed with your application. How we hold your information When you apply for a position with us, your information is collected and held securely in a third party provider’s systems whilst your application is being processed by us. The third party provider is JobAdder Operations Pty Ltd ABN 39 167 597 953. Their Privacy Policy is available on their website, https://jobadder.com.au. We are the only party entitled to access your information whilst it is held in JobAdder’s systems and only those employees of ours who have a need to access your information are permitted to do so. If we decide to employ you, your information will be transferred from JobAdder to our internal employee records. Once that happens, we delete your personal information from JobAdder’s systems. Employee records are not subject to the Australian Privacy Principles. Why we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information We collect and use information about you to: assess your application for employment with us verify information contained in your job application form assess, when applicable, whether you are a fit and proper person for employment in an authorised deposit-taking institution dealing with people’s money. If your application is unsuccessful, we may retain your information held with JobAdder and use it to consider you for other positions that may become available in future, or so that we can respond to any future application you may make for a position with us. We do not disclose your information except when the law requires for some enforcement or investigative process. Disclosure to overseas recipients We do not currently disclose your information to overseas recipients. JobAdder stores personal information in the Cloud, but does not transfer information overseas. How you can access and/or correct your information You can request access to your information at any time. If the information we hold is incorrect, you can request us to correct it.
