To assist during this challenging time, we have introduced a financial relief package to provide immediate support. Teachers Mutual Bank Limited CEO, Anthony Hughes, emphasised the member-owned bank’s swift response in ensuring members have the financial assistance they need. “Our purpose is banking for good, for those who do good, and we hope these financial support measures will provide reassurance, and if needed, meaningful relief to our members in the impacted regions by these natural disasters. “Our Member Support program offers financial relief solutions to help impacted members navigate this difficult time. I encourage any members who are impacted to contact us so we can work together to develop a tailored solution based on your individual circumstances. “Our thoughts are with our teachers, health care professionals, and emergency personnel who have been affected by these natural disasters and who continue to provide critical support on the ground,” Mr Hughes said. This relief package is available immediately to eligible members affected by Tropical Cyclone Alfred or by the Victorian bushfires and will remain in place until further notice. The relief measures available include repayment pauses on all products, fee waivers, access to funds in Term Deposits, increases in limits to overdrafts and credit cards, as well as other options to help members to restore their homes or replace damaged items. “Any members requiring assistance should contact our team so we can work together to identify the best support options for their individual situation. Customers with insurance are also encouraged to contact the claims team at Allianz on 1300 555 030, make a claim online via www.allianz.com.au/claims, or alternatively their insurer directly. For any members needing cash, withdrawals can be made at Australia Post, any bank’s ATM, or retailers offering cash out at EFTPOS (e.g. supermarkets).
