12 Days of Cracker Cash is back, bigger and better in 2024, and it’s all in celebration of you our essential workers. We want to say thank you, so we’re doing banking a little differently. Every day for 12 days leading up to Christmas, eligible members* will be in the running to win one of 12 cash prizes of up to $500!
Entering is easy – to be in the running all you have to do is complete the following before 1 December 2024 for automatic entry
- Deposit $500 new to bank money into your Everyday transaction account during the month of November
- And for an extra chance, make an additional 5 debit transactions on the same account before 1 December 2024 to receive a second entry

Competition Details
Entry into the Teachers Mutual Bank Limited 12 Days of Cracker Cash Member Giveaway is automatic for eligible members. Entry is limited to one entry per member. If a member also meets the optional eligibility criteria, a second entry will be earned.
Eligibility
An eligible Member is a person who is:
- at least 18 years old;
- a Member of Teachers Mutual Bank or Health Professionals Bank;
- depositing a minimum of $500.00 to their Everyday transaction account with the Bank, from an external source, during the month of November 2024;
- optionally, making a further five (5) debit transactions on the same account, before 1 December 2024 to receive a second entry into the draw. Transactions include:
- electronic card transactions including ATM, eftpos and debit card transactions performed by digital or physical card;
- electronic banking transactions including online Pay Anyone and bill payment transactions and PayTo Payments;
- online bill payments (including BPAY);
- transactions using facilities with contactless features;
- direct debits;
- transactions using mobile devices; and
- withdrawals or transfers made in branch; and
- not one of the following:
- a person who is a Director of the Bank;
- a Member of the Members Committee of the Bank;
- a current employee of the Bank;
- a Member that is a deceased estate or whose Membership is marked “Estate of the Late” or whose Membership is as a trustee for a deceased estate;
- a Member whose membership is marked as Non-Shareholding, Resigned, or Resignation pending shares;
- a Member who only has dormant accounts;
- a Member who has a bad debt written off by the Bank, or who is bankrupt, or who has had legal action against them taken by the Bank or a judgement in favour of the Bank against them;
- a person who is not a Member but only a third party with authority to operate on the account of a Member;
- a person who is a customer of the Bank but who is not a Member;
- a Member who is a company, an authorised deposit taking institution, a person who only operates business accounts with the Bank, or an association;
- a Member whose Membership is marked DO NOT USE; or
- a person who is only a prospective Member.
Promotion Period
The promotion period for the 12 Days of Cracker Cash Member Giveaway commences 4 November 2024 and concludes 30 November 2024. During the promotion period, members will be encouraged to meet the above eligibility criteria in order be automatically entered into the draw. Entries close 12:00am Sydney time, 1 December 2024.
Winner Draw
All 24 winners will be drawn, via a random number generator, from a list of eligible members as at 4 December 2024. Draw to be held at midday Sydney time, 4 December 2024, Teachers Mutual Bank Limited 28-38 Powell Street, Homebush NSW 2140.
Redraw
If prize payment is unable to be made to any winner due to resignation of membership prior to payment being credited, a new winner will be drawn. Selection will be via a random number generator, from the same list of eligible members used for the initial draw. Redraw held at midday Sydney time, 8 January 2025, Teachers Mutual Bank Limited 28-38 Powell Street, Homebush NSW 2140.
Announcement period
The announcement period commences 14 December 2024 and concludes 25 December 2024. During the announcement period, the name of one winner a day will be posted on the Bank’s social media platforms.

There are 12 cash prizes of $500 per Bank, awarded to 12 eligible members from each Bank. The cash prizes will be distributed as follows:

Each prize will be paid into the winner’s Everyday transaction account via a direct credit by the Bank within 10 working days of the announcement period concluding on 25 December 2024.
Winner promotion
The winners will be announced on the Bank’s social media using a combination of their first name, surname initial, city and postcode (i.e. Jane.D, Sydney 2000) for an unlimited period of time for the purpose of publicising this promotion by the Bank. A winner can request at any time that their details are not included in (or removed from) the social media posts.
Winner notification
Winners will be notified in writing via email within seven days of the winner draw which takes place on 4 December 2024. Winners will also be published on the Bank’s social media platforms from 14 December 2024 – 25 December 2024. Winners selected via redraw will be published on the Bank’s social media platforms on 15 January 2025.
Promoter discretion
If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize, subject to State or Territory regulation.
