Here is Luke’s final tip in the series designed to provide inspiration and knowledge for those participating in the challenge. Hi team, and welcome to the final phase of this challenge. No doubt there are some who have done extremely well by being committed to their goals, and some who fell off the wagon for various reasons. The main thing to remember is that this is just another chapter in your life journey. With this Teachers Mutual Bank challenge now being wrapped up, it doesn’t mean that your quest to a more valuable and healthy you finishes here. Quite the opposite—this is now the beginning of the updated version you always wanted to give yourself! Our lives are a constant stream of positive experiences and negative setbacks, regardless of your age, sex, race, religious beliefs, financial wellbeing or a host of other factors. It’s how you deal with these on a daily basis that will shape your future. For every successful moment, there are countless times where there have been many failures in trying to achieve that moment of winning. This is relevant to everything we do. For every game winning play that a superstar sportsperson or team makes, there have been numerous loses. For every kilogram of fat lost on this challenge, there has been weeks of bad eating behind that fat to have been stored. Success and failure actually work synergistically I believe. You cannot have one without ever experiencing the other. And when you learn to accept that as a part of life, you will be able to move forward with peace of mind ready and willing to accept the challenges that our daily lives throw at us. Strive to become a better person than what you were when you woke this morning. Aim to constantly improve your mind and body by exercising and testing it on a continual basis. Seek the guidance of those who you admire and respect and learn from them. Be that person you wish others to speak so highly about to their friends. All of these attributes are entirely within your capabilities, its up to you to take control of this vehicle that is your life. All the best, Luke
