Teachers Mutual Bank named ‘Best Bank in Socially Responsible Performance’ by AB+F

Teachers Mutual Bank has taken out the award for Best Bank in Socially Responsible Performance (ESG) at the prestigious Asia-Pacific Banking and Finance (AB+F) Awards.

Teachers Mutual Bank’s win is a testament to the power of the mutual industry, and demonstrates the ethical and sustainability business practices that are at its very heart. This is the third year in a row that the bank has been named a finalist in this category, having also won it previously in 2013.

The AB + F Awards are Australia’s premier retail financial services awards, covering all aspects of the industry across 18 awards categories, with winners chosen by an independent panel of senior industry professionals. Over 200 senior representatives from the Australian banking and finance industry attend the gala dinner and ceremony in Sydney.
