Which is why we’re delighted to announce the seven winners of the 2015 Future Teachers Scholarship. This year’s recipients from across Australia include: ACT winner Ben Shoard Kimberly Denholm from WA Bethany Harvey, Christopher Burton and Katarzyna Palko from NSW And our inaugural winners from South Australia Paul Smith, and from Queensland Melissa Hollman The Scholarship allows us to help future teachers who may be facing a particular financial challenge on their journey. Each received $5,000 in financial assistance to put towards their educational expenses and resources, in-addition 10 runners up have been awarded with $250 each. “We want to help ease the load and allow aspiring teachers to focus on their university studies” Steve James.
