NSW Premier’s Teachers Mutual Bank New and Emerging Technologies Scholarship 2020 recipient announced
We are proud to announce the recipient of the 2020 Premier’s Teachers Mutual Bank New and Emerging Technologies Scholarship is Lee Hancock, St Paul’s College Kempsey.
Lee’s project is SMART agriculture and sustainable food production in the digital age. The focus of his study aims to develop achievable, authentic and affordable practices and programs that can be applied within specific units of work in both Secondary Geography and Technology Mandatory contexts. It would seek to investigate the best methods to equip the next generation of precision agriculturalists, remote aircraft pilots and other vocations yet to be clearly identified who require a theoretical understanding and practical aptitude of this rapidly emerging industry.
Lee’s tour will take him across to conferences in the US, to important information resources in NSW and conferences in Canberra.
